Freedom  Acres Ranch is veteran owned, family operated ranch rooted in service, resilience and purpose. As a proud Marine Corps veteran family, ranching is more than a lifestyle—it’s our therapy, our purpose, and our way of continuing to serve. Ranching has brought healing and fulfillment to our lives, just as serving in the military once did. Now, instead of defending lives overseas, we’re saving lives here at home—through access to healthy, farm-fresh food from our ranch to your table.

We've been connected to the land for as long as we can remember—through gardening, raising poultry, and working alongside our families on small farms. But our true journey toward self-sufficiency began after Hurricane Harvey changed everything.

Displaced by devastating floods and left without access to food, we experienced firsthand what it feels like to be vulnerable. In that moment, we made a vow: we would never be without again—and neither would our community, if we could help it.

We set out to rebuild, starting with a simple goal: to create a food system that could sustain our family. We worked hard to secure land, grow our own produce, and raise animals with care. In the process, we discovered something powerful—farm-fresh food doesn't just nourish the body, it heals it.

Then in 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic exposed even deeper cracks in the food supply chain, we knew it was time to do more. That’s when we founded Freedom Acres Ranch, with a mission to fight food insecurity and bring healthy, healing food to families in need—just like ours once was.

At a time when grocery store shelves were empty and vulnerable communities were left behind, we stepped up. We used our land to raise more chickens, turkeys, cattle, and pigs—delivering fresh, nutritious meat directly to low-income, low-access neighborhoods. We knocked on doors, brought food to tables, and brought smiles during a time of uncertainty and fear.

What started as an urgent response quickly became a long-term commitment. Every purchase from Freedom Acres Ranch helps us donate fresh food to local communities still facing food insecurity today. Our mission continues—and we're honored to keep showing up for our neighbors.

We believe in honoring the land that provides for us. Our ranch operates using sustainable and regenerative practices that support soil health, animal well-being, and long-term ecological balance. Our cattle are grass-fed and free-range, and our commitment to stewardship guides everything we do—from how we raise animals to how we give back.

Founded out of the urgent need to combat food deserts and nutrition gaps—especially in low-income, urban, and minority communities—Freedom Acres Ranch is proud to be family-owned and operated with a heart for service.

We donate 5% of every sale to fighting food insecurity in underserved communities. We also accept EBT to make farm-fresh food accessible to everyone—because we believe everyone deserves access to healthy, quality food.

Freedom Acres Ranch is also a space for learning and legacy. We are committed to teaching the next generation about farming, ranching, and where their food comes from. Through education and outreach, we hope to inspire youth and adults alike to value agriculture and reconnect with nature.
